Psychebabble Foundation’s project LOVE HOME aims to provide and strengthen mental health care at an orphanage in Lagos State.
Psychebabble Foundation will be providing FREE mental health care & psychosocial support through psycho-education, life skill trainings, psychotherapy, assessments such as learning disability assessments to orphanages from January – December 2024 with a robust curriculum.
Half of all mental health conditions begin by age 14 and living in orphanges can sometimes have a negative impact on children’s physical, social and brain development in ways that can last a lifetime. By denying children the love and protection of a family also puts their mental health at serious risk.
Children at orphanage homes do not have access to mental health care to help combat the negative effect & experiences they face.
Everyone deserves access to health care, especially access to mental health care. Join us by providing support in making a difference in this cause.
